Functional Approach
We believe landscape design should have a greater purpose than mere aesthetics. The starting point for any design is the functional program, which we strive to integrate into the setting that we create for it. The final product should always be a harmonious blending of functional elements into the natural environment. |

Understanding of local culture
The firm’s designers bring their understanding of the local culture, of the people’s customs and traditions, to all of their projects. This enables us to create landscapes that are designed specifically for their users, keeping their social and cultural needs in mind. |

Studies of local ecology
The firm’s principals have done in-depth studies on local eco-systems and plant communities as part of their Postgraduate program. They understand ecology and are familiar with the different eco-types existing in the state. Both have done research on ecological restoration and understand successional processes, and how they would proceed in Kerala. They have extensive knowledge of local flora, especially trees, both native and exotic. This knowledge is invaluable in all landscape projects, especially so in eco-tourism projects. |
